Today's blog features glasshouses, two of them. It could be said that we have had a bit of trouble putting our greenhouses together. You know that you are going to have a bit of trouble when the instructions don't make sense in any language! But thanks to patience, humour and determination, our volunteers and veterans are figuring it out together. It does help when we put the door frames on the right way round! They say that laughter is the best medicine and we have had a really good laugh this week.
This week, in the scorching sunshine, we started work on our sense sections; we are going to have four sections representing the senses; sound, taste, smell and touch. These are going to be situated in our triangle trellis sections surrounding the centre circle of our garden. Our veterans have started to visit regularly now and our garden is benefiting from all the rain following the recent heatwave.

Yesterday, in the sun and the sleet (at the same time), the Dundee Therapy Garden team gratefully received a cheque for more than £1000 from the Handelsbanken's Dundee Branch Management team. Also present is Eric Fraser, CBE, the Veteran's Commissioner and Soldier, our Mascot. We are hoping to see our photograph in the Courier, but there is no sign of it yet!
