2018 So Far...

Hi all I’d like to introduce myself: I’m Izzie, I’ve been at the garden for almost a year now as IT, Technical support and office assistant and have been slowly trying to take on more responsibilities to take some pressure off our staff members. Zisky’s on holiday this week so I’m standing in for the blog post as I've noticed it's been a while since the last one.

We’re having a very productive day in the garden today; not quite as sunny as it has been, so not as much sitting outside drinking tea in the sun as has become quite a tradition with this newfound yellow ball in the sky which has been emerging of late!

We’ve been putting up some more wooden supports on which to hang netting for climbing crops or protection from thieving birds! As always with woodwork there is much hilarity in wood handling, drilling and screwing jokes!

The garden is really starting to come to life now that spring has officially sprung. We’re all loving all the green and other colours coming out after the stark white of winter and we’re finally braving the chance to remove fleece from the beds now that frost should hopefully be a thing of the past (at least for a few months).

This week has been a good week, but we’re all looking forward to having our Zisky back! We’ll catch up with you next time. But here's a few pictures from through the year
